As Durango’s locally owned, independent community bank, we work to improve the social and economic landscape of rural Colorado. We support our region’s entrepreneurs, small businesses, and not-for-profit organizations by providing them access to the capital they need to grow and enrich our communities.

The February issue of Durango Neighbors highlights a local success story. In the article, Sherry Waner, FSWB Chief Development Officer, answers questions about what you need to know to start or buy a small business. The article also features Zachary Ray of Desert Sun Coffee Roasters. He shares his journey to small business ownership and discusses the mentoring and financial support he received from FSWB in order to make his new venture a success.
